SafetyMode Information

At SafetyMode, our mission is to make smartphones safe for children. Our safety software, SafetyMode, and smartphone, OtherPhone, is co-designed by Mumsnet and their parent community. It allows children access to smartphone technology and its amazing benefits, but within a safe, controlled environment. This environment is anti-addiction by design and fully customisable, giving parents the control to adjust permissions, content blockers and filtering across any app, screen time schedules and app access based on their children's ages, needs and personality. SafetyMode is free to download on any modern Android smartphone. OtherPhone is built on iconic Nothing smartphone hardware, that looks cool - ensuring it’s a phone children will love. SafetyMode has been expertly designed and developed in the UK to offer parents the following controls: Blocks harmful content before it reaches them. Content filtering across every app (including WhatsApp, SnapChat, Roblox, YouTube). Manage screen time and app access, and set schedules. All data is stored on the device - your family’s information stays with you. Reports and alerts when harmful content has been detected with SafetyMode Plus. Remote access with SafetyMode Plus - adjust content filters, controls and schedules remotely without needing to touch their phone. Location tracking as standard.
