Safety Plus Training Information

Safety Plus Training was established in 1999 as a first aid training business, delivering a range of first aid courses to the extractive industry in the Hunter Valley of NSW. The company utilised off duty NSW Ambulance Service Paramedics and NSW Mines Rescue Corpsman to deliver a first aid training program that was specifically tailored to the needs of the underground and surface mining industry. In 2000 our Sales and Servicing Division was established to provide and manage the provision of safety resources and consumables to our customers. This assured an employer that an employee newly acquired first aid skills could be effectively translated into a successful first aid event outcome by having the right people, trained in the correct way and using the correct equipment. Since then we have expanded our operations to serve a range of companies outside the extraction industry. We provide an integrated package to cover all safety needs from a range of training options, supply of safety products and resources and stocking and servicing first aid kits. The company is keen to meet a customers particular needs and can now deliver cost effective services in the areas of:First aid training.Resource supply and servicing.Our employees are accredited to the relevant competency standard, are commended for safety and service and are actively supported in achieving their career and personal development. With the move to outsourcing of traditional site services, our customers indicated their desire to have a single organisation responsible for delivering an integrated package covering training, supply and service of first aid and rescue equipment. We believe in community, and often support local organisations including sporting and cultural associations.
