SAE AERO UW Information

Wisconsin Aerospace designs, builds, and flies large-scale RC aircraft for the SAE Aero Design competition. Our team brings together students from a range of engineering disciplines at UW-Madison to create a new aircraft each year using industry-standard engineering tools, hands-on manufacturing, and rigorous testing. Members develop technical and professional skills through experience in aerodynamics, structures, powertrain design, controls, fabrication, and team leadership.
