Sadm Information

SADM is a wonderful dance organization, and I encourage you to come and be inspired and motivated by the excellent faculty we will have and to Connect with other teachers from many different states, who come together to be inspired, motivated and hone their dance technique. The unique thing about Southern Association of Dance Masters is that it relies on all of our volunteer SADM Certified Teachers to work the many jobs involved with holding SADM's wonderful conventions. Our Secretary, Abby Donaldson, is working on the Fall Brochure and you will receive it in the mail in the next couple of weeks. All of the information will be available on SADM's website, www.sadm.org. There are some new changes to SADM's scholarship audition program. The Board is excited to announce they are expanding the Senior Scholarship auditions to include all levels. One scholarship winner and one alternate will be chosen from each class level, Junior, Intermediate and Senior. These auditions will begin at our next SADM Connect Summer Convention and the scholarship will be used at the following Fall Convention. Most of all, I want to thank each and every teacher and student that attended this Summer's Convention, because you are what it is all about. I would love for each of you to share your thoughts about our summer convention, as it takes all of us together to make SADM successful. Each of your opinions is appreciated. SADM is a volunteer organization and I thank all of the certified teachers that volunteered their time. Our SADM Connect fall convention is at "The Guest House at Graceland" on November 2 - 3, 2019. I'm asking each of you to make it an event at your studio and start your plans now to attend. Together we can make this fall's convention an event to remember.
