SADIQ Engineering Information

SADIQ Engineering was born as a spin-off of the Photonics Engineering Group at the University of Cantabria in 2011. The central scope of our company is the development of products devoted to the welding monitoring. This arises from the works developed in the Photonics Engineering Group since year 2004, taking into account investigation and the development of different R+D projects: funded by the local, national and European governments and with different companies with different problems to be solved in this regard. All these projects have been focused on the use of plasma optical spectroscopy to the real-time inspection and monitoring of both arc and laser-welding processes. Our company wants to integrate products from the TICs into the industrial environment. This is part of the next industrial revolution: Industry 4.0. This ambit requires high knowledge of the technology, which is in constant evolution, and also multidisciplinary skills that our team puts at your service.
