S7 Airlines is Russia’s largest domestic air carrier, based at three large air transport hubs: Moscow (Domodedovo), Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) and Irkutsk. The airline’s maintenance service had all necessary certificates issued by Russian, European (JAA) and US (FAA) regulatory authorities, which authorize the airline to perform maintenance of both Russian- and foreign-built airplanes. Transaero was also a leader in terms of e-commerce. In March 2007 it became the first Russian airline to introduce e-ticket. In May 2007 for the first time in the Russian market it offered Web check-in services to its passengers.
