Ryan MacNeil & Co. is a boutique management consultancy that helps development organizations become more effective. Our clients include a range of public agencies and not-for-profit organizations working in labour force, economic, business, community, and international development. We have helped these clients become more focused and productive agents of change. The company principal is Ryan MacNeil. Ryan is one of only 197 certified economic development professionals in Canada, and brings 14 years of experience strengthening economic development organizations across Canada and China. He is a lecturer in Mount Saint Vincent University’s Department of Business; an instructor in the University of Waterloo’s professional economic development certification program; has been an invited speaker at numerous provincial, regional, and national conferences; and has published research on the governance and management of community economic development organizations. Ryan collaborates with a flexible business network of 8 specialist associates across Canada, and 2 in China. The network’s areas of expertise include: regional economic development, international development, public policy, not-for-profit governance, group facilitation, leadership and team development, and human resource management.
