RxArmory was developed to help promote a healthy lifestyle and deter people from abusing prescription medicine, a serious epidemic within the United States. The vast majority of teens abusing prescription drugs obtain them from the medicine cabinets of friends, family and acquaintances. The RxArmory provides a secure means of storing prescription medicine. Mounting into a fixed position within a consumer’s existing medicine cabinet, the RxArmory protects children, teens and visitors from having easy access to potentially harmful drugs. The RxArmory protects against drug theft and ensures that a consumer’s medicines cannot be removed from its secure location. The RxArmory box does not require tools for installation, and once installed it cannot be removed. MISSION RxArmory provides a safe, convenient and affordable method of securing prescription drugs into existing medicine cabinets, reducing the risk of diversion and preventing accidental or intentional misuse. VISION RxArmory will be a leader in the security of prescription drugs and controlled medications. Leveraging partnerships and relationships with drug abuse organizations, charities and government agencies, RxArmory will target sales of its products to nationwide chains of pharmacies, health care distributors, mass retailers and internet sales organizations. Our goal is to spread awareness of prescription drug abuse and to decrease the misuse of these drugs by promoting responsible storage of these substances.
