Rwanda Chamber of Tourism Information

The Rwanda Chamber of Tourism is apex body for all private sector tourism establishments in Rwanda. The Rwanda Chamber of Tourism is a dynamic and integral component of the Private Sector Federation (PSF), an organization dedicated to championing and advocating for the interests of the Rwandan business community. Established in December 1999, the Rwanda Chamber of Tourism succeeded the former Rwanda Chamber of Commerce and Industry, assuming its pivotal role as a key advocate for the nation's burgeoning tourism and hospitality sector. In 2006, in recognition of tourism's vital role in Rwanda's economic landscape, the Rwanda Chamber of Tourism was formally established under the auspices of the PSF. Since its inception, the Chamber has been unwavering in its commitment to serving as a dedicated platform for industry stakeholders, striving to propel Rwanda's tourism and hospitality sector to new heights. The associations are the Rwanda Safari Guides Association(RSGA), Rwanda Hospitality Association(RHA), Rwanda Tour and Travel Agencies Association (RTTA), Rwanda Association of Tour Agencies (RATA), and Rwanda Tourism and Hospitality Educators Association (RTHEA) and the Rwanda Community Tourism Association.
