Rusticooking.com, is the online hotel reservations platform of The Balearic Rural Hotel Association. We are dedicated to offering the best rates for all of our accommodation offered (B2C) and are responsible for promoting partner's businesses and for managing business risks of its members (B2B). We also represent a business sector in cross industry meetings, in tourism lobby FEHM (Hotel Business Federation of Mallorca) and participate in meetings with politicians in order to preserve the rural tourism. Founded in 2011, rusticbooking.com offers competitive rates for any type of property, ranging from small independent hotels to a five star luxury. The site is available in 3 languages and offers a large number of affiliated rural hotels throughout Balearic Islands. In 1990, a group of 12 farmers of Mallorca decided to meet with the common objective of preserving the traditional and typical country estates they owned due to its difficult maintenance with the insufficient incomes they perceived from the agricultural activity. The group of farmers obtained permissions to offer their country estates as rural accommodation establishments in order to have an economic complement to the agricultural activity. Thereupon, in 1990 The Balearic Rural Hotel Association (Associació Agroturisme Balear) was founded in a carob tree store as its head office.
