Rust Construction is a fourth-generation, family-owned design-build firm based in Alexandria, Virginia. For nearly a century, we've worked on homes across Alexandria, Arlington, and Washington, DC. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole-home renovations, historic remodeling, and custom homes. Older homes are our sweet spot. We care about the details: structure, comfort, energy performance, craftsmanship, and respect for what a house was originally trying to be. We also care about the experience of renovation: clear communication, honest process, realistic expectations, and clients who feel informed at every step. We take the work seriously.
