RT is a UK start-up passionate about interconnects that combine peak data rates and lowest latency with record low power consumption; designed with the AI use case in mind. Our game changing precision laser innovation enables us to cut out all optical signal processing, mapping opto-electronic signals 1:1 (DWDM linear drive pluggable optics). RT’s modular interconnects scale to 32 wavelengths and 1.6Tb/s; 5 interconnects stack onto a single fibre for 8Tb/s transmission. Our new modular interconnects co-exist with existing interconnects (CWDM) and stack alongside for incremental and easy DC upgrades. In addition, RT’s multi-wavelength interconnects open up alternative, instant and error-free, colour-based routing between compute nodes at a sub-fibre level to taper wasteful compute idle time (non-electric optical circuit switching).
