Rural Maps is the studio of Anthony Pelly, cartographer. It makes hand-drawn, individually surveyed maps of estates, farms, ranches, plantations, vineyards and sporting land, recording not only a property's boundaries but its names, its history, and the way it is lived and worked. Founded in 2013 and grown out of farming rather than art, Rural Maps has mapped more than three million acres across four continents. Anthony surveys each property himself; a small studio assists. Every map is printed to archival standard, traditionally framed, and made to hang for generations. Featured in the Financial Times, The Field, Quest and on the BBC. Represented in the United States by The Sportsman's Gallery and Paderewski Fine Art. Commissions are bespoke and limited in number. Enquiries: anthony@rural-maps.com
