The IBMA is the non-profit music association that connects, educates, and empowers bluegrass professionals and enthusiasts, honoring tradition and encouraging innovation in the bluegrass community worldwide.

For nearly 40 years, Music in the Mountains has produced an exceptional summer music festival with musicians of the highest caliber. Every July, join us in beautiful Durango, Colorado, for four weeks of world-class music in a charming mountain paradise. Our festival orchestra is made up of world-renowned musicians and is led by Maestro Guillermo Figueroa. Each year we are joined by phenomenal soloists and guest conductors. Programming includes classical orchestra pieces, modern pops pieces, family-friendly events, intimate chamber concerts, and more. Music in the Mountains: It's the music. It's the musicians.
