After 11+ amazing years of serving Charlotte's underserved, homeless and marginalized communities, RunningWorks officially closed on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. You have allowed us the privilege of walking (running) alongside the men, women and children in our community who are often forgotten. RunningWorks was a grassroots nonprofit which empowered the homeless, severely impoverished and marginalized with housing, transportation, employment, mental health and recovery services through life skill development, social support and case management, as well as the values accrued via running and walking.
