Run4Canada is guided by two 9-year-old girls who are looking at the example generations ahead of them are setting - and choosing a different path. They’ve seen enough to know that adults don’t always get it right. We’ve complicated what should be simple. We’ve built lives around screens, debt, and endless convenience - and called it progress. But they see things more clearly. They see that moving our bodies, being outside, connecting with others, and caring for our world are not luxuries - they’re the basics of a good life. Running (or walking) costs nothing. It strengthens our minds and bodies, connects us with nature, relieves the pressure on our healthcare and community systems, and reminds us what being alive actually feels like.
