Club competitions have been administered for junior players in Brisbane since 1951. Rugby League Brisbane was formed with the amalgamation of Greater Brisbane Junior Rugby League and Brisbane Second Division Rugby League on 14 November 2017. Its focus is managing rugby league competitions, game development and player pathways to foster champions both on and off the field. RLB administers Australia's largest Rugby League competition with nearly 16,000 registered players across 57 Clubs.
