As a member of World Rugby, we are the NSO ( National Sport Organization) responsible for administrating the game of rugby 15s and rugby 7s in Canada. Our mission is to keep Canadian rugby competitive at the highest levels domestically and internationally. With the inclusion of rugby in the 2016 and 2020 Olympics and the continued rise in youth rugby, the future of the sport Canada is as bright as ever. Canada is a leading nation within Rugby Americas North and the host of HSBC Canada Sevens in Vancouver & Langford. Rugby Canada acknowledges that its Langford offices reside on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish, Á,LEṈENEȻ ȽTE (W̱SÁNEĆ), Te’mexw Treaty Association, and Lekwungen/Songhees peoples. The British Columbia Rugby Union was first established in 1889 in New Westminster. Known as 'BC Rugby', the Not-For-Profit is the governing body for the sport of rugby in the province and is one of 60 Provincial Sport Organizations to receive funding from the Provincial Government.

The Edmonton Rugby Union (ERU) is the governing body for rugby in Edmonton and Northern Alberta. The ERU consists of 15 member clubs; providing programming for children, youth, adult and senior athletes. Programs of both competitive and recreational components are available for men and women. The ERU provides the administrative support, club guidance, and sport specific knowledge to member clubs and its 2000+ individual members.
