Ruffin & Payne is located in eastern Henrico County at the corner of Laburnum Avenue and Vawter Avenue just a block from the Richmond International Raceway. The company has been a vital part of building the Richmond area for over 100 years. Established in 1892 by Thomas C. Ruffin and Joseph M. Fourqurean. Ruffin & Payne is still owned and operated by the Ruffin family. Our business is supplying the materials that your job requires with concern for the individual needs of our customers. Ruffin & Payne has always been associated with quality and value. Our lumber products come from a select group of mills and manufacturers that we have chosen for their ability to consistently provide a quality product. We sell lumber that comes from the East coast, West coast, Canada and even Europe. Ruffin & Payne's emphasis is quality products and customer service. We have yet to find a job too big or too small in over 100 years of service to the Central Virginia area. We deliver to Richmond and the surrounding counties, Tidewater, The Northern Neck, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and Southside Virginia. New construction, remodeling, renovation or additions...we do it all. Ruffin & Payne is a lumber, millwork and building supply operation that specializes in serving the home building and remodeling community. We serve custom builders that may build one or two homes a year and those that build over fifty homes a year.
