Our mission is growing a community of engineers and designers that are interested in building meaningful things and applying the latest mobile technologies. Our ambitions reach beyond this into changing the nature of education using principles from technology and open-source.

With international success stories like Hozier, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Hudson Taylor, whose 2020 album charted at number one on the Irish album chart; Rubyworks continues to develop talent on the principles originally identified by founder Niall Muckian. Charismatic artists performing unforgettable songs with the ability to thrill concert audiences from Dublin to Denver and beyond. Over the course of the last nineteen years, Rubyworks has released albums by many important Irish artists, including Fight Like Apes, Ryan Sheridan, Wyvern Lingo, David Keenan, Funeral Suits, Hothouse Flowers, Sinead O’Connor, Mary Coughlan and Gavin Friday. In more recent times the label has developed a new generation of Irish talent including Hozier, in partnership with Columbia Records in North America and Australia and Island / Universal for the rest of the world, Irish Women In Harmony, Lyra, Jamie Duffy and Saibh Skelly. Putting out remixes for our artists, we've worked with Galantis, Meduza, Sofi Tukker, Fatboy Slim, Shane Codd & John Gibbons among other great names. The ongoing success of Rodrigo y Gabriela - Grammy Winners in 2019 - is inextricably linked to Rubyworks. Niall Muckian has managed Rod & Gab since 2001, and their global success story - 1.8 million albums sold worldwide, and countless sold-out tours across the continents - is part and parcel of the foundation of the label and our associated management services. Experience and consistency are key elements to the Rubyworks story. Music Manager Roger Quail joined in 2005, bringing a wealth of international knowledge with him. Label Manager Elaine McCann ushers in a wealth of sales and logistical experience from her previous role at The Orchard distribution.

CodeVentures, LLC is a technology startup incubator for non-technical founders. We work with entrepreneurs to define and develop the startup where Code Ventures will join as tech founder for the startup. In a normal engagement, CodeVentures takes care of the design, engineering, programming, and deployment of the product while other founders focus on sales, marketing, and finance part of the startup. Platform Venture is a startup platform designed to enable individuals who have been successful academically and in their professional careers segue into a new role as an entrepreneur. What is unique about Code Ventures is that you can confirm a proposed disruptive technology or process and its resulting addressable market, without having to take on the aggregate opportunity cost of changing careers all at once. Partner with Code Ventures means you are able to produce a minimum viable product and get pilots into the market, without having to leave your current position. Unlike the Immersive Accelerators like Techstars, Y Combinator, etc. the typical would-be entrepreneur who partners with Code ventures is not a person just starting out in business who has limited opportunity cost of quitting their current role and completely committing to the Accelerator program. Ideal candidates would be able to commit some time during the product development process. Once the product is close to being completed they would transition into a fulltime role with the startup. Every year we accept only 6 startups. For 2018 we have 3 more slots.
