RT-ABC: Advancing Benign Radiotherapy Education RT-ABC is a global educational initiative dedicated to training radiation oncologists in the use of radiotherapy for benign (non-malignant) conditions. While widely practiced in German-speaking countries, benign radiotherapy remains underutilized in many parts of the world. Our Purpose To equip radiation oncologists with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to successfully implement benign radiotherapy in clinical practice. Our Vision To close the educational gap in benign radiotherapy, enabling oncologists worldwide to improve patient outcomes and make full use of their radiotherapy equipment. What We Offer RT-ABC provides a structured, three-part program: 1. Online Course A comprehensive platform with 27 video modules and written materials covering low-dose radiotherapy, condition-specific treatments (e.g. Dupuytren’s, plantar fasciitis, osteoarthritis), and business strategies. Includes radiotherapy fields, quizzes, patient info leaflets, and consent forms. 2. Face-to-Face Training A 2-3 day hands-on course. Covers anatomy, physiology, orthopedic assessment, imaging, radiotherapy planning, and practical demonstrations. 3. Mentorship Program Monthly case reviews for 6 months to support clinical and business implementation with expert guidance. Why RT-ABC? We’re the only program combining online training, in-person workshops, and mentorship focused on benign radiotherapy. Our approach is deeply practical, bridging knowledge gaps in clinical technique and business execution. Learn more and get started at www.rt-abc.com
