The RHSV offers several ways for you to promote your activities. The What's On page on the RHSV web site is provided as an avenue via which our Affiliate groups can promote their events. It is a free service. You only need to contact the Secretary with your event details and they will be placed there. The What's On page is rapidly becoming the best place to find out what is happening in the Gardening World. Each issue of the quarterly RHSV magazine, the Gardeners' Gazette, comes with an inclusion that lists all the forthcoming events. This is a free service for members. Leaflets can be included in the RHSV quarterly magazine, the Gardeners Gazette. The magazine reaches most Victorian groups, many individual members and other groups throughout Australia. Potentially it reaches 30,000 gardeners. To cover the cost of packing the leaflet in the magazine a charge of $35 applies. We require 1700 leaflets of A4 size or less. These must be supplied at your cost to the Secretary by a specific deadline. Contact the Secretary for more details. The RHSV has significant displays at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show and at other high profile gardening events. Member groups can also publicise their activities at these events. Many thousands of people attend these events and they therefore provide prime opportunities for promotion. The RHSV is also involved in other events that may provide promotional opportunities.
