Rowing Australia is the peak governing body for competitive rowing in Australia, administering the sport from grass roots through to high performance and is an official member of World Rowing. Rowing Australia is the home of the Australian Rowing Team.
Australian Sailing is the national governing body committed to advance the sport of sailing in Australian and international communities in all its forms, and across all levels of participation.
By providing leadership to the Clubs and Classes, through the provision of relevant services and support and in the development of high performance practices, we are committed to building the capability and capacity of sailing to be a successful and leading sport in Australia.
The Tasmanian Institute of Sport (TIS) was established in 1985 by the Tasmanian Government to assist Tasmania's talented athletes achieve excellence in sport. The TIS is a division within Culture, Arts and Sport, which is a business unit within the Department of State Growth Tasmania.
The TIS operated two bases across the state; the Northern office is located at the Silverdome Complex in Launceston and the Southern office located at the Tasmanian Technopark in Hobart.
Our vision is to be a world class centre for excellence that delivers Tasmania's largest, most successful cohort of Olympic and Paralympic athletes in 2032.
