Rowing Australia is the peak governing body for competitive rowing in Australia, administering the sport from grass roots through to high performance and is an official member of World Rowing. Rowing Australia is the home of the Australian Rowing Team.

World Rowing is the international governing body for the sport of rowing. It is empowered by its 156 member National Rowing Federations, the National Olympic Committees and the International Olympic Committee to govern the sport of rowing. World Rowing sets the rules and regulations for the practice of the sport, in all its forms (see www.worldrowing.com/rowing), and organises sanctioned World Rowing events. It also provides advice and expertise for the organisation of rowing regattas, on coaching education and other matters relating to the sport and its development. Established in 1885, the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is one of Australia’s great yacht clubs and is the gateway to the beautiful waters of Moreton Bay. Squadron members welcome you, your family and friends to belong to and share in our 140 year boating history. Our mission to promote participation in boating, cruising and all on-water activities and to provide a strong sense of fellowship and belonging amongst members and guests, both on and off the water.
