Routable AI is an MIT based startup developing some of the most advanced fleet management and on-demand vehicle routing tools for high occupancy ride sharing. We conducted a simulation with the NYC taxi fleet and realized that we can service all of Manhattan’s taxi demand in real-time with 80% of the fleet without inducing a significant delay by allowing up to four passengers to share the same vehicle.
