Co-op Academies Trust is a successful organisation of Academy schools in the North of England, which is sponsored by The Co-operative Group. Harrogate Grammar School (HGS) is an Outstanding Teaching School in the heart of Harrogate, committed to improving teaching and learning in partnership with other leading schools. HGS became an Academy Trust and a Teaching school in 2011.
