Campbell Scale Models (CSM) is one of the oldest scale model craftsman kit manufacturers in the world. We have been supplying craftsman kits to model railroad enthusiasts and general modelers since 1960. Currently, we produce over 130 kits, modeling parts, and Weston Figures, mostly in HO scale, but we also produce a few kits in other scales as well. CSM was established in 1960 by Leo Campbell of Tustin California. In 1991, Leo moved the company to Durango Colorado and a few years ago (2004), due to health reasons, Leo sold the company to Duncan Campbell (no relation to Leo). The company was relocated to Central Point Oregon, about 30 miles north of the Oregon/California border in Oregon's Rogue Valley area. Since the beginning, Campbell Scale Models products were mainly sold to wholesalers and hobby shops, but in the summer of 2010, Duncan Campbell partnered with Tom Miller, who formed Campbell Scale Models Online, to sell Campbell kits directly to customers using the Internet.
