Hello! We're a content and strategy studio that looks at every brand as if were its own to grow & buy & love. We're founded by Divya and Deepak (aka Chuck). We've individually spent ~10 years at places like Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, OML Entertainment, Flying Cursor, Weber Shandwick, and PaytmInsider. Since 2019, we individually began our freelancing journeys, and eventually brought our services under one name - Rough Paper. We operate out of our home in Pune - the two of us and our two cats (they don't do much but are a vibe on video calls). We primarily work on brand positioning and strategy; content & digital marketing strategy; and website / UI / packaging content. We've also done voice-overs, hosted a branded podcast, written case studies, developed pitch decks, conducted workshops... And a lot more. We've worked on B2C, B2B, D2C, B2B2C and every other acronym. From pre-seed startups to legacy firms. From music festivals to fintech, designer homes to design studios, IT to an actual IIT. Our clientele spans TCS, Mahindra Independence Rock, Spotify, BookMyShow, Stay Vista, cult.fit, OML Entertainment, Spectal Management, Parentheses Studio, Workshore, IIT Madras, FLAME University, Stoa School, lots of real estate and many young D2C brands. We look at each brand we work on, from two lenses: As its founder and as its customer. This helps us ask the right questions, which inevitably leads to good answers.
