Rossbro works in solving in-vehicle problems for a number of major transportation carriers in North America, including Postal Services, ambulances, school bus carriers and public transit agencies. Projects include centralized workstation and consolidated storage platforms and information integration with rugged computers. Personnel at Rossbro have worked at solving a number of problem areas including more effective and safer storage of mail for the Postal Service, material studies in producing longer life components in delivery vehicles, workstation solutions for consolidation of radio and communications systems and integration of rugged hardware in information technology. Rossbro has specialized in several product categories:Custom bus mounts - one out of every seven public buses in North America uses a custom Rossbro Mount and is mounted on virtually every bus type. Phone/ PDA mount - a high quality mount that easily attaches to dashes and is available for use with Palm, Blackberry and other similar keypad devise. A larger version for ruggedized PDA's and similar type computerized hardware. Laptop mount (VLHM) - a unique mount that supports any type of standard or ruggedized laptop. Patented design the VLHM is the only mount on the market that has one hand quick release for instantaneous movement on vertical, horizontal and rotational axis. Laptop mount (VLM) - a laptop mount that is basically maintenance free and allows for easy adjustment for an infinite number of positions.
