Founded in April 2004, Rat City Rollergirls, LLC, (RCRG) is Seattle’s (and the Northwest’s) first flat track, all-female roller derby league. RCRG is composed of about 100 member-owners, who are divided among four teams: Derby Liberation Front, Grave Danger, Sockit Wenches, and Throttle Rockets. RCRG’s fifth team, the Rat City Rollergirls All-Stars, is composed of the best players from the four home teams, who represent RCRG in regional and national play.

MRD is a founding member of the Women's Flat Track Roller Derby Association (WFTDA) and has been bringing athletic training, community building, and fabulous entertainment to south-central Wisconsin since 2004. The league is made up of 200+ member volunteers over 4 home teams, 2 travel teams, a recreational team, on-skates and non-skating officials, support members, and a juniors program. They currently hold regular season games at the Alliant Energy Center between January and May, and host an invitational tournament ("Udder Chaos") in the spring at Hartmeyer Ice Arena. We are Boston’s premier Women’s Flat Track Derby Association roller derby league. Founded in 2005, Boston Roller Derby promotes and fosters the sport of women's flat track roller derby by facilitating the development of athletic ability, sportswomanship, and goodwill among member leagues. The governing philosophy of Boston Roller Derby and the WFTDA is “by the skaters, for the skaters.” Gender expansive skaters are primary owners, managers, and/or operators of each member league and of the association. Operational tasks include setting standards for rules, seasons, and safety, and determining guidelines for the national and international athletic competitions of member leagues. All WFTDA member leagues have a voice in the decision-making process, and agree to comply with the governing body's policies. Games are played at both Shriner’s Auditorium in Wilmington, MA and Various FMC rinks in the Boston area.
