ROPEPCA Information

ROPEPCA was founded in November 2012, aiming to strengthen the image of the onshore upstream sector in Romania, and to enhance its relationship and communication with the state, government, regional and local authorities, national agencies, and general public. The association gathers active players from the Romanian exploration and production industry who share the same goals: respect for the environment, an ethical working relationship, respecting the highest standards and using the latest technology. Our mission is to provide a common voice for the onshore upstream sector in Romania. To achieve this goal, we try to raise overall awareness on the industry and its importance for the national economy and employment. We are also promoting open discussions on health, safety and environmental, educational, fiscal and technical issues. Romanian Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies Association consists of 19 petroleum concession agreements holders. These agreements were signed by the member Companies and the Romanian state, under the active Petroleum Law.
