Rooya Group, founded in 2007 as an offshoot of TIBA for R.E. Development; founded by Engineer Hisham Shoukri in 1997, is one of the country’s fastest growing holding companies in the fields of Tourism & Real Estate Development, Investment & Contracting, as well as Consultancy; with investments of more than US$ 3 billion, a working capital worth over EGP 2 billion & a land bank of over 9 million m². Chaired by Eng. Hesham Shoukri who has over 20 years experience. Rooya Group owns 13 companies including TIBA Company, Okoplan and Rooya for Development of Real Estate and Tourism. In a recent development in March of 2015, Pioneer bought 60% of Rooya and in June 2015 two funds joined Rooya namely EgyCap Investment Ltd. and Castle Property Company Ltd. Thus, the total ownership structure of Rooya is 52.2% Pioneer, 34.6% Hesham Shoukri, 8.8% EgyCap Investment Ltd. and 4.4% Castle Property Company Ltd.
