Root for Kids Information

Root for Kids (formerly The Learning Center for Families) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children and families thrive. Since 1993, we’ve walked alongside more than 20,000 families, providing early education, health services, and family support from pregnancy to age five. We serve families across Washington County, Iron County, and San Juan County, Utah, as well as Beaver Dam, Colorado City, and Fredonia, Arizona. Our programs—including Early Head Start, Early Intervention, and Parents as Teachers—are based on eligibility and often provided at no cost to families. In addition, we offer Kindermusik, Caterpillar Clubhouse, First Things First, and Health Services to promote development and school readiness. Every service we provide is rooted in compassion, connection, and care—because love and learning go hand in hand.
