It began with people, places, and a lifelong connection to the hospitality industry – and with deep respect for the people behind it.After more than three decades in the hospitality industry, I had used – and advised on – countless hotel systems. Since 2005, I have consulted for over 500 hospitality businesses, helping them increase profits through Revenue Management, all while hearing the same question: Why is it so hard? Time and again, I saw passionate hosts struggling with systems that were too complex or too generic. What I saw was a clear disconnect between software and the real work of hospitality – systems built without an understanding of how decisions are made on the ground. I listened to their frustrations, ambitions, and love for their properties. So I decided to build what I could never find: a system that supports people, not overwhelms them. ROOMAXE is more than software to me. It's my way of giving back to an industry that has given me a lifetime of experience, trust and inspiration. ABOUT THE FOUNDER: Kaare Harry Kjerrumgaard is the founder of ROOMAXE and one of Denmark's most experienced consultants within Revenue Management. With over 30 years of practical experience and consulting for more than 500 companies since 2005, Kaare has worked across the entire spectrum of the experience industry – from boutique hotels and B&Bs to larger hotel and restaurant companies.
