Roihu 2016 Information

Roihu on Suomen Partiolaiset – Finlands Scouter ry:n järjestämä vuoden mittainen elämys. Roihu järjesti lukuisia tapahtumia ja aktiviteetteja eri ikäisille nuorille aina 7-vuotiaista lähtien. Roihu huipentui seitsemänteen Finnjamboreeseen, 20. – 28.7.2016 Evolla järjestettävään leiriin. Leirille osallistui 17 000 osallistujaa 12-vuotiaasta alkaen. Leirillä oli suomalaisten partiolaisten lisäksi kansainvälisiä partiolaisia yli 45 maasta. Yli 3000 vapaaehtoista suunnitteleli ja toteutti projektin. __________________________________________________________________________________ Roihu was a large Finnish experience for young people organised by the Guides and Scouts of Finland (Suomen Partiolaiset – Finlands Scouter ry). Numerous events and activities for different age groups was organised during 2016. The 7th International Finnjamboree (a huge camp in a forest) was the main event of Roihu, and took place in July 20th – 28th 2016 in Evo, Finland. 17,000 participants across Finland and abroad joined the camp. Over 3000 volunteers worked for this common experience. Roihu strived to educate its volunteers, manifested the power of collaboration, provided experiences for the participants and to support the strategy of the Guides and Scouts of Finland. Roihu welcomed participants and volunteers whether or not you belong to the Guides and Scouts.
