Since its founding in 1877, The Fresh Air Fund, an independent, not-for-profit youth development organization, has provided free life-changing summer experiences in the outdoors to more than 1.8 million children from New York City’s underserved communities. Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Kesem is the largest national organization dedicated to supporting children impacted by a parent’s cancer, at no cost to families. Our innovative and fun-filled programs provide children with peers who understand their unique needs, and create long-lasting impact. Camp Kesem at UCLA supports over 260 campers from the Greater Los Angeles area. We are driven by over 100 student volunteers from UCLA who plan, organize, and execute two weeks of camp every year!
