Rocketship Solutions Limited Information

Rocketship Solutions is a small business owned and operated by Barry and Dawn Sampson. It was established in 2008 to provide digital learning solutions to individuals and organisations. We have always been a virtual company, working from home whenever possible. As a result, we can keep our costs low and make sure our prices are affordable. From 2009 to 2019 the company operated primarily as a partner and part owner of Onlignment Limited and then Skills Journey Limited (previously named The More Than Blended Learning Company). From 2020 onwards we are working solely as an independent business. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients that includes individuals, small and large business, charities, local authorities and NGOS. As we don’t have (and never will have) external investors we are driven by what we believe to be right, not by shareholders and venture capitalists chasing profits. About Barry Before setting up Rocketship Solutions, Barry worked in HR and held several roles as an HR generalist, recruiter, and project manager, before finding a home in Learning and Development. He was a trainer, training manager and learning designer before moving into elearning in 2003. As Learning Technology Manager at B&Q he worked on a number of award-winning elearning and blended learning programmes and championed the use of emerging tools. Since 2008 he has worked full time at Rocketship Solutions. Barry has delivered Digital Learning Design training to students from around the world. About Dawn Dawn had a successful career as a Business Analyst before joining Rocketship Solutions full time in 2013. She manages the business operations of the company and makes sure things get done on time and on budget. She holds degrees in economics and business from The University of Kent and The University of Maryland.
