Rochester Optical opened in 1932 as a small frame manufacturer supplying to the military and remains a partner with the armed forces today. We are proud of our long military history, and in the early 2000's we opened our Rochester Optical store, where the public may schedule their eye wellness exams, order contact lenses, glasses, and more. In the mid 2000's, we developed our R&D department and work to partner with brands such as Google, Epson, and more to design and develop prescription eyewear solutions for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality devices.
