LEAP: SOFT ERROR HARD LAYOUT METHODOLOGY AND LAYOUT IP LEAP is Robust Chip Inc.'s unique new RHBD layout methodology which dramatically reduces single event generated soft error rates, with negligable speed, power, and area penalties. LEAP stands for Layout design through Error Aware Positioning. The technique has been developed with support from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and is patent pending.
