Robot Study Circle COEP Information

Robot Study Circle also known as COEP Robotics is the leading student organisation in the field of Robotics and Automation. We are guided by our faculty advisor Dr. Shantipal Ohol(Assoc. Prof. @COEP). Our work include design, simulation and manufacturing of various robots ,participation in various National and International competitions and publishing research papers. Also, we have industrial collaboration with Siemens PLM as patron sponsor, Volkswagen, Janatics, Schmalz, PnF, Robolab Technologies. Thus with the extraordinary and strong technical team of budding engineers from multiple disciplines we aim to contribute cutting edge technology, research and development in the field of Robotics and Automation. Some of our notable achievements include: -National Champion at ROBOCON 2017 thus represented India at International ROBOCON 2017 held at Tokyo, Japan and won Nagase Award for the country. -Forbes Marshall outstanding project Award for year 2009-10 to Robot Study Circle team for Design & Development of Quadrotor. - Design & Manufacturing of Robot for Pune Police Bomb Detection & Disposal Squad -Research Papers published in various National and International IEEE Conferences.
