THE PROBLEM: Today, power grids, pipelines and railroad tracks usually still have to be inspected on foot or by helicopter. This is not only tedious, but often life-threatening. Maintenance intervals must therefore be reduced to a minimum. Due to climate change, incidents with catastrophic geological effects like wildfires, floods or smog are becoming more frequent. Drones still lack the necessary flight time to help on a larger scale and crashes pose a significant risk especially in populated areas. OUR SOLUTION: We are solving this problem with autonomous airship drones. Barely heavier than air due to their helium filling, their safety is akin to a flying airbag.
