Robert C. Byrd Center for Legislative Studies Information

The mission of the Center is to help foster a better understanding of the United States Congress, the Constitution and representative democracy both historically and in a contemporary setting. Our archival holdings include the records of Senator Robert Byrd, Congressmen Harley O. Staggers Senior and Junior, and the first Chief Administrative Officer of the U.S. House Scot Faulkner. We also host and sponsor a variety of events in pursuit of our mission and in support of local campus and community groups.
