Roadblock Ministries Information

RoadBlock Ministries was formed in September of 1996 with the intention of going into the juvenile detention centers and share the Gospel with troubled young people. It is the will of God that these young people turn to the Lord for salvation and for deliverance from the bondage of sin (1 Peter 3:15, Isaiah 58:6-8). The Lord has been gracious by introducing us to wonderful people who share our burden. Their contributions of prayer and financial support have helped sustain us these past years. Only the Lord really knows how many young people have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, but we praise Him in knowing that His Word will not return unto Him void! (Isaiah 55:11). Praise God for His unspeakable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:15). Despite the confusing signals being sent to everyone concerning Jesus today, it is our calling to tell all that we meet that there is NO OTHER WAY to receive eternal life, than to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior! (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). Young and old alike must acknowledge that they are sinners, believe that Jesus died for their sin, and call on Him to be their Savior. We are able provide each young person we meet with an Authorized (King James) version bible due to faithful supporters and the direction of Almighty God. We share this verse with our 'congregation' often, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). We have the best news that many in the world have never heard! Pray for us that we will be diligent in delivering the news to everyone we meet, and to magnify the Lord and His wonderful works, for "without Him, we can do nothing". "For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
