Moreno, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP R+O Studio was founded by Robert Barreto, MArch, and Omar Moreno, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP - both graduates from the University of Florida with Master's Degrees in Architecture. Since 1997, Mr. Barreto and Mr. Moreno have been working together in one capacity or another. Shortly after graduating from UF, Robert and Omar opened a small wood and metal shop, designing and constructing furniture and small scale architectural components. The sensibilities of design and construction learned at the shop have since carried over despite the current projects' increase in scale. It is R+O Studio's dogmatic approach to design in detailing - common to furniture design - that resonates in their architecture. However, it is their approach to customer service and professional commitment to the project that has made them one of Miami's best design firms.
