RM Conservation Information

We can provide experienced conservation detection dog teams to assist in surveys for a range of species. Our unique combination of experience in practical conservation, dog handling and training, animal welfare, species knowledge and research means we are well placed to provide high quality and reliable teams. Current services include - Bat and bird carcass - we have experience surveying wind turbine sites, completing searcher efficiency trials and also conducting carcass persistence trials - Water Vole - experienced in standard water vole surveys, providing detection dogs as an additional survey method - Red Squirrels - locating sick and dead red squirrels during disease outbreaks - Great Crested Newt detection dogs in training - all training is under licence ensuring highest welfare standards are maintained. We are also able to train dogs for bespoke projects so please get in touch if you have a project you would like to discuss.
