RJ Wren Heating and Cooling now offers refrigeration service, sales, and maintenance because we found Northern Virginia has a very small number of qualified and knowledgeable refrigeration technicians. So we decided to offer restaurants and convenience stores a better option than what was available before. When we were just starting out we wanted to focus on just residential and light commercial but due to the overwhelming requests for us to do refrigeration because our customers were getting ripped off with astronomical prices for horrible workmanship we started stocking our trucks with refrigeration parts and taking some refrigeration service classes. Refrigeration takes a great deal of patience and attention to detail and it's not much different than air conditioning just different refrigerants and controls. We service all makes and models of ice machines, walk in freezers & refrigerators, prep tables, and display cases. We offer maintenance contracts were we come twice a year and clean condenser coils, grease motors, clear drains, and check the refrigerant charge, gaskets, and operation of equipment to make sure they are operating correctly and efficiently. Our ice machine maintenance includes cleaning the condenser, evaporator, water distribution tubes, water trough, and bin. We also do a clean cycle with sanitizer to sanitize the whole system which is mandatory by the health department. We sell and install all brands of ice machines and the first maintenance and sanitizing is included in the sales price as well as a one year labor warranty on top of the manufactures parts warranty. Our company offers free quotes on installation of walk in refrigerators and freezers, and we can get any brand of box we just prefer to install Bally boxes because of their durability, quick delivery, and great customer service.
