I earned my education by serving my country in the United States Marine Corps. As an added bonus, I discovered my creativity along the way. The Marine Corps opened up a whole new world for me; it exposed a deep interest and innate talent in the kitchen, which didnt go unnoticed. I worked my way up the ranks until I became Personal Chef to the Officers, which, in turn, inspired me to trade in my weapon for a steak knife. Throughout my travels I always managed to find a way into everyones kitchen. I had to I was mesmerized by the many different blends of spices and of course, the presentation. I absorbed every scent, every hint of flavour until I discovered my favourite combinations and incorporated them into my vision of New World Fusion. Eventually I found myself in Toronto. This melting pot of a city inspired me to further my culinary education. After becoming an executive chef and witnessing the crisis of food waste in our community, as well as how many families are in need, the Feed It Forward program was born.
