The Riverwalk Group is a team of committed mental health professionals. Our group believes that compassion, creativity and collaboration are the essential keys to therapeutic growth. We also believe there are various ways to receive support, so in addition to therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, we also offer support groups, workshops and retreats. We do not believe in "one size fits all. Our therapy and all of our programming is tailored for the individual or group we are specifically working with. We, as a team meet regularly to discuss current research, review techniques, and share the latest publications and books. We all regularly attend conferences and workshops that help us integrate the most current research into our work. Some of us also teach and supervise other therapists in diverse settings. Our team is well trained with excellent, diverse experience. We bring backgrounds in EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, Integrative Trauma, Music Therapy, Expressive Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Therapy and Couples Therapy. In addition to private practice settings, members of our team have worked in hospitals, agencies and schools.
