If you're seeking the perfect place to learn to ride, make the trip to Mooresville, North Carolina, where you'll find Lakeside Stables at Lake Norman. One of North Carolina's most popular recreation destinations, nearby Lake Norman is the perfect complement to our new state-of-the-art facility, complete with a beautiful, spacious covered riding arena surrounded by lush landscaping and magnificent local foliage. Our facility is family-owned by Jochen and Bianca Wittgraefe, along with their daughters, Emma and Lily. Emma's passion for horses and the therapeutic nature provided by horses was the inspiration for the project. Lakeside Stables will be operated by Brooke and Quintus VanderSpuy, who have more than 30 years of experience training and instructing riders of all ages and ability levels. They also own and operate Lenux Stables in Huntersville, North Carolina, the very facility where Emma has ridden for more than four years. Lakeside Stables will offer summer camps beginning with the 2020 season; winter camps will be available 2019-2020. You can book your child's birthday party starting in June of 2019.
