Study locally at our brand new campus and learn within a friendly, tight-knit community that will help support you with your studies. University Centre Rotherham (UCR) is a brand new £10.5 million campus dedicated to offering degrees and professional training qualifications, providing a state-of-the-art teaching facility in the heart of Rotherham. The campus opened its doors to students in Autumn 2018 providing access to Level 4 to Level 7 courses in a wide range of subjects such as Engineering, Health and Social Care, Business, Computing, Performance, Media, Graphic Design, Education and many more. Our degree and higher-level qualifications are accredited by top universities and awarding bodies including Sheffield Hallam University and University of Hull to ensure access to excellent courses locally, with the benefit of lower tuition fees and being able to juggle existing commitments around study. The centre is home to a range of dedicated facilities including a 120 person capacity seminar room, a fully equipped two-storey library, independent and group study spaces, exhibition spaces, social areas and a café. Learning within a modern teaching facility will equip you with the skills you need to excel once you graduate with us and our neutering environment will ensure you receive the one to one support you need to get there.

Diversity is celebrated and we warmly welcome everybody into our community. We have a rich 97-year history of academic and sporting achievement. Long-standing traditions - such as the house system, which was formed in 1923, and the school's newspaper, The Torch - provide a traditional feel in our modern learning environment. Despite our size, we pride ourselves on our supportive and caring community. We work hard to ensure that we create a disciplined environment which is rooted in the highest expectations, providing a platform for our students to showcase their ability, talents, and enthusiasm. We firmly believe that with the combination of a growth mindset and world class learning every lesson, every day, there are no limits on what our students can achieve. The new addition of integrity to our key drivers encapsulates what we want to achieve via our curriculum intent. Here at Wath Academy, we do things for the right reasons. We don't take shortcuts and we ensure everything we do is ethically and morally correct. We deliver on promises and walk the talk. Curriculum Intent
